Diet Paradoxes

The health crisis this country is in (and many others) is not just an effect of one food or thing. It is more of  being a collective roll on effect of a few things. Some may say carbs but there are populations such as the Kitavan or the Japanese who has a fairly high carb intake who do not have as much of these modern lifestyle diseases we have, but they are doing something right!

If you look at all the paradoxes such as the French, Israeli,Swiss alpine, Spanish, Mexican, Albanian, east African Masai....each has it's own diet and risk factors that one might think they would be an unhealthy population according to mainstream advice. But each are doing something right...from omega 3, high veg intake, low processed foods, low alcohol consumption etc...some like the Italian, smoke, and still have lower CVD rates!

So what I am saying is that there are many diets and many ways to stay healthy, and what is right for another, wont be the same for the next person. Could be high sat fat, could be low, high carbs, low carbs, but we can say is processed foods are no good in any population!

If it was manufactured in a lab it has no place in your body, there is so much real food you can eat with out resorting to prepackage, additive, preservative, flavoring laden food.  On our journey to reduce processed food you don't need to be 100% there, but you do need to be 100% committed to making those steps :)
